About the Role:

Our site is classified as a medium to high-risk chemical site, because of the use of hazardous materials. Keeping the equipment in a safe and well-maintained condition, is essential for continuation of the
business, conformity with the law and reputation of MCAM. In accordance with our safety, health and environmental policies, the maintenance strategy takes a pro-active approach.


In this position you will responsible for the execution of the daily maintenance tasks and secures the availability and compliance of the production equipment, utilities, and general conditions of the assets on site
through preventive action and on-time regulatory inspections. In the unforeseen occasion of breakdowns of mechanical and/or electrical equipment, you are responsible for safe and quick repair, in order
to reassume the production at the earliest possible notice. In collaboration with the Site Management Team, you participate to continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to maintain Safety and KAITEKI in the technical areas
  • Securing availability and conformity of the machine park (mechanical integrity)
  • Execution of preventive and ordinary maintenance and recurring inspections
  • Participate keeping clean internal and external areas of the plant even according to 5S approach
  • Documentation of maintenance protocols and equipment data
  • Participation in internal and external audits
  • Internal training of production staff
  • Support the Maintenance Team to management of external suppliers
  • Management of the spare parts warehouse and maintenance workshop

 

Your experience and qualifications:

  • Qualified electrical Technican (CEI 11-27) or similar with several years of professional experience, ideally in the chemical industry 
  • Hands-on personality, basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and DCS/PLC System
  • High level of discipline to work safely and accurately
  • Adeuqate knowledge of the EU and Italian Legislation and directives for Safety in the producing industry (E.G. 2006/42/EU; 2014/34/EU) and experience with notified bodies 
  • good communication and people management skills
  • experiences with MS Office
  • Fluent in Italian language and proficient in English language
